Rochelle Rickoff
Research and Programs Manager
As CIFA’s Research and Programs Manager, Rochelle Rickoff develops and implements new concepts, partnerships, research activities and projects to increase the impact of CIFA’s mission, particularly with regard to education.
Prior to her tenure at CIFA, Rochelle worked for the Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) as One Chicago, One Nation Program Manager - a Chicago-wide partnered program with the Inner-City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) and The Chicago Community Trust (CCT). This initiative brought together Chicagoans of diverse faiths, cultures and sectors to address issues of common concern and build trust among Chicago’s different communities. She holds a M.Ed. in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and has worked domestically and internationally with various education, research and interfaith organizations. Some include the American Psychological Association (APA), National Conference of State Legislatures (International Programs in Middle East/North Africa), Harvard University’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Creativity for Peace and the Seeds of Peace Center for Coexistence in Jerusalem. In her previous life, Rochelle trained as a theater artist and creative writer (BFA, Theatre Studies, Boston University). Originally from South Carolina, Rochelle proudly injects “ya’ll” into conversations at the Shabbat dinner table.
